Why we built
Crave

We were frustrated with dating apps that felt like slot machines — endless swiping with no real signal, no safety guarantees, and profiles that told you almost nothing about who someone actually is.

So we built Crave from the ground up with a different philosophy: give people the tools to show up authentically, and let the matching do the rest. No dark patterns. No manufactured urgency. No hidden fees.

Crave is developed by Cryptpeach, an independent software studio. We are a small team that cares deeply about the product we are shipping and the people using it. Every feature is deliberate. Every policy is written to protect users, not to cover us.

Profile Voice Audio Record a short audio clip for your profile — let people hear your personality before they match with you.
Voice Notes in Chat Send voice messages in conversations. More personal than text, less pressure than a phone call.
Blind Date Feature Match based on personality and prompts before photos are revealed. Connection before appearance.
Intent-Based Matching Tell people what you're genuinely looking for. Filter by connection intent to find people on the same page.
Travel Mode Explore connections in other cities before you arrive. Perfect for travellers and people moving to a new place.
Photo Moderation Every photo is reviewed by AWS Rekognition before it is shown to anyone. Fake and explicit profiles are removed automatically.
Freemium Model Core features are free. Premium boosts and subscriptions are optional. You can find genuine connections without paying a penny.
