Zero-Tolerance Statement
Crave, developed and operated by Cryptpeach, maintains an absolute and unconditional zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in all forms.
This standard applies to all users of Crave regardless of their location, age, or the nature of their account. There are no exceptions. Any user found to have created, uploaded, shared, solicited, or distributed CSAM, or to have used the Crave platform to facilitate the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child in any way, will have their account permanently and immediately terminated, and the matter will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
These published standards are globally accessible and constitute Crave's formal commitment to combating child sexual abuse and exploitation, in compliance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy for social and dating apps (effective January 22, 2025).
Prohibited Content & Behaviour
The following content and behaviours are strictly prohibited on Crave. Any user found to engage in any of the following will face immediate permanent account termination and reporting to law enforcement:
Prohibited content
- Creating, uploading, storing, sharing, or distributing any form of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), including photographs, videos, illustrations, or computer-generated imagery
- Any content that depicts, simulates, or promotes the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor
- Content that sexually suggestive, sexualises, or objectifies minors in any context
- Requesting or soliciting sexual content from minors
- Sharing personal contact details with minors for sexual purposes
Prohibited behaviour
- Grooming — using the app to build inappropriate emotional relationships with minors for the purpose of sexual exploitation
- Sextortion — threatening or coercing a minor to produce or share sexual content
- Trafficking — using the app to facilitate the trafficking of a minor for sexual purposes
- Solicitation — soliciting sexual images or acts from minors, or directing minors to third-party platforms for sexual purposes
- Impersonation — posing as a minor to engage in sexual conversations or to facilitate contact with minors
- Using any feature of Crave (chat, voice notes, profile, Blind Date) to communicate with, target, or exploit minors
- Attempting to circumvent our age verification or content moderation systems
Platform misuse
- Creating accounts on behalf of or for use by a person under 18 years of age
- Sharing links, referral codes, or information directing minors to Crave or to CSAM on other platforms
- Using automation, bots, or technical means to evade our detection systems
Age Verification & Enforcement
Crave is strictly an adults-only platform. Users must be 18 years of age or older to create an account or use any feature of the app. This restriction is enforced at multiple levels:
At account creation
- Users are required to confirm their age as 18 or older during the onboarding process
- A database-level constraint (age CHECK: age >= 18) prevents accounts with an age below 18 from being created
- Providing a false age to access the platform is a violation of our Terms of Service and may constitute a criminal offence in applicable jurisdictions
Photo verification
- Every profile photo is reviewed by Amazon AWS Rekognition before being shown to any other user
- Google ML Kit on-device face detection is used to verify a real human face is present in profile photos
- Photos that our systems identify as potentially depicting a minor are immediately flagged for human review and are not displayed until cleared
- Profiles where photos suggest the user may be a minor are immediately suspended pending investigation
Ongoing monitoring
- User reports alleging that a profile belongs to a minor are treated as high-priority and actioned within the shortest possible timeframe
- Upon confirmed discovery that a minor has created an account, the account is immediately and permanently terminated and all associated data is deleted
- Repeat creation of accounts by a known minor results in device-level bans via our blocked_hashes system
Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy requires dating apps to block minors from accessing the platform. Crave complies with this requirement through the measures described above.
Detection & Prevention
We employ a multi-layered approach to detect, prevent, and remove CSAM and CSAE on Crave:
Automated image moderation
- All photos uploaded to Crave are scanned by Amazon AWS Rekognition for explicit, harmful, or potentially illegal content before being shown to any user
- Rekognition checks include detection of explicit nudity, suggestive content, violence, and hate symbols
- Any image that triggers CSAM-related content labels is immediately and automatically removed from the platform and flagged for urgent human review
- Photos are not approved for display (is_photos_approved = false) until they have passed moderation
Audio and text moderation
- Profile audio clips and text content (bios, prompts) are subject to content review
- Content that attempts to solicit, groom, or exploit a minor is flagged and removed
Human review
- Our moderation team reviews all content flagged by automated systems
- All user reports involving potential CSAM or CSAE are reviewed by a human moderator and treated as the highest priority
- Confirmed CSAM is removed immediately upon discovery
Moderation record keeping
- All moderation actions, including removal of CSAM, are logged in our moderation_log table with a timestamp, reason, and action taken
- These records are retained for up to 5 years for legal compliance and safety purposes
Reporting CSAM — How to Report
If you encounter any content on Crave that you believe is CSAM, or any behaviour you believe constitutes child sexual abuse or exploitation, please report it immediately using the methods below.
Our CSAM Response Process
Upon obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM on the Crave platform — whether through automated detection, a user report, or any other means — we take the following actions in accordance with our published standards and applicable law:
Immediate removal
- The content is immediately removed from the platform and is no longer accessible to any user
- The account responsible for the content is immediately suspended pending investigation
- All associated content (other photos, messages, profile data) is preserved as evidence and removed from public view
Reporting to authorities
- We report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline as required by US law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A)
- Where applicable, we cooperate with reporting obligations in other jurisdictions, including India's NCPCR and the IWF
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and provide all information legally required or requested under valid legal process
Account action
- The offending account is permanently banned with no possibility of reinstatement
- Device-level identifiers associated with the account are added to our blocked_hashes system to prevent re-registration
- A full moderation record is retained in our moderation_log for legal compliance
Timeline
- Automated detection results in immediate content removal (within minutes of upload)
- User-reported CSAM is reviewed as the highest priority — our target is to action confirmed CSAM within 24 hours of a report being received
- NCMEC reporting is completed as soon as practically possible after confirmation
User Reporting Mechanism
Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy requires that dating apps provide an in-app mechanism for users to submit feedback, concerns, or reports. Crave provides multiple reporting mechanisms:
In-app reporting
Every user profile and every conversation in Crave has an in-app report button. Users can submit a report at any time without needing to leave the app. The report categories include:
- Underage User — report a user you believe may be under 18
- Child Safety — report any content or behaviour you believe exploits or endangers a child
- Fake or Impersonation Profile — report suspected catfishing or impersonation
- Harassment or Threatening Behaviour
- Explicit or Inappropriate Content
- Other Safety Concern
Web-based reporting
Users can also submit reports via our Support Centre at any time, including after uninstalling the app. The Support Centre is available at all times and does not require the app to be installed.
Direct contact
Child safety concerns can be sent directly to help.cryptpeach@gmail.com. Child safety reports sent to this address are treated as the highest priority.

Designated Safety Contact
Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy requires dating apps to designate a point of contact for CSAE notifications — a person empowered to discuss enforcement procedures and take action on CSAM matters.
Cryptpeach's designated child safety point of contact is the developer responsible for Crave. This individual is empowered to discuss the organisation's CSAM prevention practices, respond to child safety inquiries from Google Play and law enforcement, and take immediate action when CSAM is confirmed.
